Local chronology tool

Your chronology stays on your device.

The site does not receive or store chronology entries.Entries are saved in your browser’s local storage on the device you are using. Printing and text or JSON export are performed locally in your browser.

Clearing site data, using a private-browsing session, switching browsers, or losing access to the device may remove local entries. Export a copy if you need a separate backup, and protect that file according to the sensitivity of its contents.

Safe sharing

Minimize sensitive information before sending a copy.

Do not put Social Security numbers, full dates of birth, passwords, account credentials, detailed medical information, unredacted confidential records, or unnecessary third-party information into material intended for ordinary email or public sharing.

  • Keep the original file in a secure location.
  • Make a separate copy for redaction.
  • Remove information that is not needed to establish the event.
  • Check images, filenames, comments, and document metadata.
  • Confirm the recipient and transmission method before sending.

Contact and submissions

No active submission form is collecting information.

The newsletter and contact interfaces in this first version do not transmit entries to the project. A future contact or subscription service should be accompanied by updated privacy information explaining what is collected, why, where it is processed, and how long it is retained.

Editorial limits

Publication requires source review.

Demonstration entries show possible publication formats only. They are not findings, investigations, or claims about any person or organization. Future reporting should identify sources, distinguish fact from report and analysis, mark unresolved questions, and offer a meaningful opportunity to respond.
